Workshop of the Polytechnic Workshops The institute has well equipped workshops for imparting engineering skills to the students. Each and every workshop is well equipped with latest modern machines having high degree of accuracy. Computer Centre Computer Centre which caters to the computational needs of students and faculty of all departments is equipped with the latest hardware and software to face the global challenges. Internet facility is also available. Library Library occupies an important position in the educational institution for providing continuous education to the aspirants. To inform, inspire and develop its users intellectually, the polytechnic library maintains a very good collection of all types of books.   Extra-Curricular Activities The institution has been involved in various programmes viz. NSS, Blood Donation Camp, Drug de-addiction Awareness Camps etc. Sports and Games Special attention is given to the areas of health building and personality development. The institute has a good number of games and sports fields for badminton, table tennis, cricket, hockey, football, vollyball, kho-kho, kabaddi and other games. Entrepreneur-ship development Entrepreneurs are not born. They are made. Institute organise entrepreneurship awareness camps in collaboration with agencies such as SISI Ludhiana, RCED Chandigarh, Punjab Financial Corp., Chandigarh, Nitcon, Apex institute of Entrepreneurship and Business Development, Punjab.
