Objectives
- To provide professional
expertise for the Textile and Information Technology
Industry.
- To enable the young students
to play a constructive role in Modren society and meet the
growing needs of the industry.
- To interact closely with the
industry and involve their key perosnnel in the curriculum
development, evaluation of students, sharing of equipments
and for imparting training to the students.
- To prepare the youth for
self employment.
- To help rural and other
weaker sections of society through various Community
Polytechnic Services like manpower development, technical
services & transfer of technology.
- To enhance skill in the
local youth through competency & need IRG schemes.
Infrastructure
The
campus is spread over an area of 19.4 acres. The main three
storied building includes Administrative Block, Lecture Halls,
Laboratries, Computer Room, Multipurpose Hall and Library. The
workshops are just adjacent to Administrative Block. Apart from
this, the institution includes one girls hostel, two boys
hostels, guesthouse and staff quarters.
