The plastic and polymer industry has emerged as a major sector of growth as it fulfills the  demand from a variety of industries such as the transport sector, agricultural, household appliances and goods, packaging, electric and telecommunication sectors  Plastic waste management industry has emerged as a parallel option for work.
 

Functions 

·   To select the right type of material for processing to make the product.

·   To prepare and characterise plastic material

·   To handle plastic processing machinaries & processes utilised in extrusion & blow moulding.

·   To prepare the design of simple plastic products leading to its developments & manufacturer

·   To test the raw materials and the products during various stages of their manufacture to control the quality.
